Ever since she was a young girl growing up in southeast Houston, Meagan dreamed of becoming a lawyer and was determined to be the first person in her family to obtain a college degree. With encouragement from her family, she achieved her lifelong dream by graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio and later obtaining her law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston. Meagan’s experiences and upbringing have taught her that success is possible with persistence and hard work. She has transferred these life lessons into the way she practices law. She fights hard in each case and takes pride in achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients. As a Latina and mother of four, she adds a “special something” to every case she handles.
During law school, Meagan clerked for Justice Rebecca Huddle at the First Court of Appeals Houston who now sits on the Texas Supreme Court. Immediately after passing the Bar exam, she was hired by a prominent Houston area family lawyer where she learned how to litigate high net worth divorces, commercial disputes and was introduced to probate litigation. Since then, she has also gained invaluable experience working for a prestigious civil litigation firm where she handled complex personal injury and wrongful death litigation (in both state and federal court), highly contested business disputes, and appeals.
Currently, Meagan handles civil disputes, and uncontested family law and probate matters.
